When is a commercial lease forfeited?

Among other things on rent more than two working days late, on unlawful subletting, and on neglect or disturbing conduct. The tenant may reinstate the lease by paying within the statutory period.

For the owner, landlord or seller

The notice must be served correctly, otherwise the reinstatement period does not start.

For the tenant, buyer or client

Pay within the period and keep the receipt, reinstatement turns on the payment date.
