Boverket's building regulations (BFS 2026:9), binding rules and general advice
Boverket's new building regulations apply from 1 October 2026 and replace BBR (BFS 2011:6). They make the statutory technical requirements operative, including fire safety, hygiene and energy performance. Transitional rules apply to energy performance.
