Överförmyndarnämnden har beslutat om riktlinjer som bl.a. angett ett tak för milersättning i syfte att möjliggöra för anhöriga och vänner på längre avstånd att vara god man under förutsättning att milersättningen inte tillåts bli oskäligt hög. Fråga om överförmyndarnämnden enligt 12 kap. 16 § första stycket föräldrabalken genom egna riktlinjer har kunnat begränsa rätten för förordnade förmyndare, gode män och förvaltare till ersättningar för utgifter som varit skäligen påkallade för uppdragets fullgörande.
