En kvinna, född år 1923, hade tillgångar i februari 1999 i form av banktillgodohavanden och fastigheter som uppgick sammanlagt till omkring 3,3 miljoner. I februari 2001 då förvaltare förordnades för henne, uppgick hennes tillgångar till omkring 33 000 kr. I målet befanns utrett att två makar erhållit 3,3 miljoner i värden från kvinnans tillgångar. Makarna, som tidigare var ostraffade, dömdes av hovrätten för ocker, grovt brott, till två respektive ett års fängelse.
