What self-monitoring duties does an ICPE operator carry?

The operator monitors its own emissions, waste and nuisances under the programme set in its authorisation order or in the ministerial order for its heading, and keeps the results available to the classified installations inspectorate. Measurements follow the reference methods, and exceedances as well as any accident or incident must be reported to the prefect without delay. Monitoring data are filed electronically on the national platform, and the absence of monitoring is itself a breach, whatever damage is or is not found.
