Provisions

  • 4 kap. 1 §
    Formal requirements

    The purchase is concluded by a written document signed by both parties, stating the property, the price and a declaration of transfer.

  • 4 kap. 12 §
    Remedies for defects

    The buyer may obtain a price reduction or rescind the purchase, and in certain cases damages.

  • 4 kap. 19 §
    Defects and duty to inspect

    The buyer may not invoke a defect that should have been detected in an inspection called for by the circumstances.

  • 4 kap. 19 a §
    Inspection before purchase

    The buyer may invoke a defect only after inspection where the seller has called for it and given the opportunity.

  • 4 kap. 19 b §
    Notice of defect

    The buyer must notify the seller within reasonable time after noticing the defect, and at the latest within ten years.
