Where a European standard drafted in support of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 of the European Parliament and of the Council (*1) satisfies the general safety requirement laid down in Article 5 of that Regulation and the specific safety requirements referred to in Article 7(2) of that Regulation, the Commission shall publish a reference to that European standard without delay in the Official Journal of the European Union.
