- Paragraph 1 applies. 1. An electronic attestation of attributes shall not be denied legal effect or admissibility as evidence in legal proceedings on the sole ground that it is in electronic form or that it does not meet the requirements for qualified electronic attestations of attributes.
- Paragraph 2 applies. 2. A qualified electronic attestation of attributes and attestations of attributes issued by, or on behalf of, a public sector body responsible for an authentic source shall have the same legal effect as lawfully issued attestations in paper form.
- Paragraph 3 applies. 3. An attestation of attributes issued by or on behalf of a public sector body responsible for an authentic source in one Member State shall be recognised as an attestation of attributes issued by or on behalf of a public sector body responsible for an authentic source in all Member States.
