Hovrätten har funnit att en förvaltare inte ska få ersättning för mervärdesskatt på det arvode hon fått för uppdraget då tjänsterna som utförts utgör sådan social omsorg som är undantagen skatteplikt enligt 3 kap. 4 § mervärdesskattelagen (1994:200). Även fråga om förvaltaren är att anse som en beskattningsbar person enligt 1 kap. 1 § mervärdesskattelagen.
