What does the Internal Control Regulations require of environmental work?
The undertaking must run systematic internal control that ensures compliance with health, environment and safety legislation, and the material parts must be documented in writing. This covers set objectives, an overview of responsibilities and tasks, risk mapping with an action plan, routines for detecting and correcting non-conformities and a systematic review of whether the system works. Responsibility rests with whoever runs the undertaking, and the supervisory authority may require the documentation to be produced.
