Om den beskattningsbara personen är etablerad här i landet och registrerad för mervärdesskatt, gäller undantaget från skatteplikt här bara om Skatteverket efter ansökan av den beskattningsbara personen har beslutat om det. Undantaget gäller tidigast från och med dagen för beslutet.
Ett beslut om undantag enligt första stycket gäller dock tidigast från ingången av det tredje kalenderåret efter det kalenderår då ett beslut om beskattning fattades enligt 15 §. Lag (2024:942).
