Ett företag får förstöra pappershandlingar och elektroniska handlingar som används för att bevara räkenskapsinformation, om räkenskapsinformationen överförs till en annan pappershandling eller elektronisk handling. Handlingarna får dock endast förstöras om överföringen med hänsyn till tekniska metoder, organisatoriska åtgärder och övriga omständigheter inte innebär risk för att räkenskapsinformationen förändras eller försvinner.
