How long is the notice period in Finland?

Unless otherwise agreed or set in a collective agreement, the employer's notice is 14 days for an employment of up to one year and rises in steps to six months for an employment of over 12 years. The employee's notice is 14 days for an employment of up to five years and one month thereafter.
