Tillstånd till verksamheten vid i en deponi ----- En deponi för deponering av förbränningsrester bedömdes uppfylla deponeringsförordningens krav på geologisk barriär och skydd mot att lakvatten förorenar omgivningen. Miljödomstolen meddelade villkor om att endast askor från vissa namngivna värmeverk fick tas emot. Miljööverdomstolen (MÖD) ansåg emellertid att det inte mötte något hinder att ta emot förbränningsrester som utgjorde icke-farligt avfall från andra liknande anläggningar i regionen efter godkännande från tillsynsmyndigheten. Slutligen bedömde MÖD att dispens kunde medges från kravet på bottentätning enligt 24 § deponeringsförordningen på grund av berggrundens mäktighet och permeabilitet, askornas låga lakvattenproduktion och genomsläpplighet samt systemet för omhändertagandet av lakvatten.
