What must a company's environmental self-monitoring cover?
Self-monitoring must show that the undertaking complies with its conditions: measurements, sampling, records and the reporting to the supervisory authority that the permit or the rules require. The supervisory authority may order an undertaking, at its own expense, to carry out investigations and measurements and to provide information on the pollution and its prevention. Results must be kept and produced at inspection, and deviations must be notified to the authority.
