How quickly must a Swedish public authority release an official document?

An official document that may be released must, on request, be made available immediately or as soon as possible, on the premises and free of charge. If a copy is requested it must be provided promptly, and a fee may be charged according to the set tariff. The authority must examine the request promptly, and anyone refused is entitled to a written decision that can be appealed.
