How long is the right to complain in a Swedish consumer sale?
The buyer may complain about a defect for up to three years from receiving the goods, and the complaint must be made within a reasonable time after the defect was noticed. A notice within two months always counts as timely. If the defect appears within two years of delivery it is presumed to have existed at delivery unless the seller shows otherwise; after that the burden of proof lies with the buyer.
