Ett företag har vid marknadsföring av bostäder på Internet använt påståenden om att företaget är Sveriges största bostadsmarknad, att företaget är Sveriges största eller populäraste marknadsplats inom hus eller hem samt att företaget har Sveriges största bostadsutbud, störst utbud och mest information. Påståendena har ansetts vilseledande och otillbörliga i strid mot marknadsföringslagen då företaget inte har förmått styrka riktigheten i dessa. Vidare har bl.a. ett yrkande om förbud att i marknadsföring kringgå två protokoll som finns på Internet (The Robots Exclusion Protocol och Hypertext Transfer Protocol - http/1.1) lämnats utan bifall på den grunden att yrkandet har befunnits ta sikte på åtgärder som lagligen inte kunnat definieras som marknadsföring.
