Ett antal arbetstagare, som är tillsvidareanställda som reservofficerare hos Försvarsmakten, har för Försvarsmaktens räkning tjänstgjort i Afghanistan. Innan de åkte till Afghanistan utbildades de i Sverige och hade då fritt logi med logementsstandard som staten erbjudit dem. Fråga om arbetstagarna enligt kollektivavtal har haft rätt till logitillägg under utbildningstiden i Sverige och utlandstraktamente under tjänstgöringen i Afghanistan, alternativt om de i avsaknad av sådan rätt i strid med lag har missgynnats såsom tidsbegränsat anställda för tjänstgöringen i förhållande till tillsvidareanställda med sådana förmåner. Även fråga om staten har gjort sig skyldig till kollektivavtalsbrott genom att inte för utbildningstiden i Sverige uttryckligen erbjuda arbetstagarna fritt logi i form av enkelrum med dusch och toalett på rummet.
