En arbetstagare A hos försäkringskassan har haft flera tidsbegränsade anställningar efter varandra. En tid innan den sista av dessa anställningar löpte ut i samband med ett årsskifte fick hon besked att hon inte skulle komma att få någon förnyad anställning hos försäkringskassan. Ett tiotal andra arbetstagare som också hade tidsbegränsade anställningar som löpte ut vid samma årsskifte fick däremot erbjudande om fortsatt anställning i form av tillsvidareanställningar eller nya tidsbegränsade anställningar.
