Fråga om en arbetsgivare enligt det mellan parterna gällande kollektivavtalet (riksavtalet för slakteri- och charkuteribranschen) hade rätt att utan lokal överenskommelse förlägga den ordinarie arbetstiden som tvåskift enligt ett schema som innebar bland annat att skiftlagens bemanning varierade mellan veckans dagar och att arbete bedrevs på söndagar. Vid jakande svar på denna fråga uppkom spörsmålet om arbetstagarorganisationen ändå haft fog för sin uppfattning när den utövade tolkningsföreträde i tvistefrågan.
