I ett aktiebolag har aktieägarna inte något personligt betalningsansvar för bolagets förpliktelser.
I 25 kap. 19 § finns bestämmelser om personligt betalningsansvar för aktieägare i samband med likvidationsskyldighet på grund av kapitalbrist. Lag (2007:317).
