Tid då en utländsk medborgare vistats utomlands som medföljande till en svensk, anställd vid svensk beskickning i utlandet, har inte räknats som hemvist i Sverige. Kravet på fem års hemvist i Sverige för att ansökan om svenskt medborgarskap ska kunna beviljas var därför inte uppfyllt. Det har också saknats tillräckliga förutsättningar att medge dispens från kravet på fem års hemvist.
