Den som i en arbetsgivares personaladministrativa verksamhet genom intyg av läkare eller tandläkare, vilket har lämnats arbetsgivaren på grund av denna lag, eller genom försäkran som avses i 9 § fått kännedom om en enskilds hälsotillstånd eller personliga förhållanden i övrigt får inte obehörigen röja vad han eller hon sålunda fått veta.
Föreskriften i första stycket medför inte någon inskränkning i den skyldighet att lämna uppgifter som följer av lag eller förordning.
I det allmännas verksamhet tillämpas i stället föreskrifterna i offentlighets- och sekretesslagen (2009:400). Lag (2009:448).
