Om ett tillstånd lämnas efter regeringens tillåtelse enligt 29 §, är den som ansökt om tillståndet skyldig att bekosta de kompensationsåtgärder som anges i beslutet om tillstånd.
Första stycket gäller i den utsträckning det inte kan anses orimligt att kräva att sökanden skall stå för kostnaderna. Vid avvägningen skall särskilt beaktas det allmänintresse som avses i 29 § första stycket 2. Lag (2001:437).
