I ett publikt aktiebolag, vars aktier är upptagna till handel på en reglerad marknad eller en motsvarande marknad utanför Europeiska ekonomiska samarbetsområdet, ska styrelsen hålla förslaget enligt 2 § tillsammans med de handlingar som anges i 4 § och, i förekommande fall, 6 § tillgängligt för aktieägarna under minst tre veckor närmast före den bolagsstämma där frågan om vinstutdelning ska prövas. Kopior av handlingarna ska genast och utan kostnad för mottagaren sändas till de aktieägare som begär det och uppger sin postadress.
Handlingarna ska hållas tillgängliga på bolagets webbplats under minst tre veckor närmast före stämman och dagen för stämman. De ska vidare läggas fram på stämman. Lag (2010:1516).
