Bolagets aktiekapital kan ökas på något av följande sätt.
1. Aktiekapitalet tillförs belopp genom fondemission. Bestämmelser om detta finns i 12 kap.
2. Nya aktier tecknas mot betalning enligt beslut om nyemission av aktier. Bestämmelser om detta finns i 13 kap.
3. Nya aktier tecknas mot betalning med utnyttjande av teckningsoptioner som bolaget har gett ut. Bestämmelser om detta finns i 14 kap.
4. Nya aktier lämnas i utbyte mot konvertibler som bolaget har gett ut. Bestämmelser om detta finns i 15 kap.
