How long can a UK director be disqualified?

From two to fifteen years, depending on the seriousness of the conduct, with the top bracket reserved for the worst cases. Disqualification follows unfitness in the management of an insolvent company, persistent breaches of filing duties, fraudulent or wrongful trading, or a competition law breach. Acting as a director while disqualified is a criminal offence and brings personal liability for the company's debts incurred during that time.
