Sparade semesterdagar ska förläggas till det semesterår som arbetstagaren väljer. Detta gäller dock inte om något annat har avtalats eller om det finns särskilda skäl mot att semesterdagarna förläggs till det året.
Om arbetstagaren har avsett att sparade semesterdagar ska förläggas till det femte året efter det semesterår då de sparades och om sådan förläggning skulle medföra betydande olägenhet, får överenskommelse träffas om att semesterdagarna ska läggas ut under det sjätte året. Lag (2009:1439).
