Regeringen får i ett enskilt fall besluta att en eller flera kommuner ska redovisa till regeringen eller någon annan myndighet hur kommunen eller kommunerna i sin planering enligt plan- och bygglagen (2010:900) avser att genomföra ett åtgärdsprogram eller på annat sätt skapa förutsättningar för att miljökvalitetsnormer enligt detta kapitel följs. Lag (2018:1407).
