En miljösanktionsavgift skall betalas inom trettio dagar efter det att beslutet om att ta ut avgiften har delgetts enligt 4 §, om tillsynsmyndigheten i beslutet inte har bestämt en senare tidpunkt.
Beslutet om miljösanktionsavgift får efter sista betalningsdagen verkställas såsom en dom som har vunnit laga kraft. Lag (2006:1014).
