Av lagen (2014:140) med bemyndigande att meddela vissa föreskrifter om marknadskontroll av varor och annan närliggande tillsyn framgår att föreskrifter om avgifter för kontroll enligt förordning (EU) 2019/1020 får meddelas. Lag (2022:1108).
