Vilthägn får inte uppföras utan tillstånd av länsstyrelsen på områden där allmänheten får färdas fritt.
Vid tillståndsprövningen skall behovet av skydd för friluftslivet och naturmiljön beaktas.
Tillstånd till vilthägn inom ett strandskyddsområde får meddelas endast om det finns särskilda skäl.
