Revisorn skall efter varje räkenskapsår lämna en revisionsberättelse till bolagsstämman. Bestämmelser om berättelsens innehåll och den tidpunkt då den skall lämnas till bolagets styrelse finns i 28-36 §§.
Om bolaget är ett moderbolag som är skyldigt att upprätta koncernredovisning, skall revisorn även lämna en koncernrevisionsberättelse enligt bestämmelserna i 38 §.
