En revisor vars uppdrag upphör i förtid skall genast anmäla detta för registrering i aktiebolagsregistret. Han eller hon skall lämna en kopia av anmälan till bolagets styrelse.
Revisorn skall i anmälan lämna en redogörelse för vad han eller hon har funnit vid den granskning som han eller hon har utfört under den del av löpande räkenskapsår som uppdraget har omfattat. För anmälan gäller vad som föreskrivs i 33 § andra stycket, 34 och 35 §§ om revisionsberättelse.
