Om en uppgift i aktiebolagsregistret om bolagets ställföreträdare är oriktig, ska Bolagsverket stryka uppgiften ur registret.
Innan avregistrering sker ska bolaget ges tillfälle att yttra sig inom viss tid. Om det behövs för att säkerställa ställföreträdarens identitet eller behörighet att företräda bolaget, får Bolagsverket förelägga ställföreträdaren att inställa sig personligen. Bolagsverket får besluta att inställelsen ska ske genom ljud- och bildöverföring. Lag (2024:1117).
