§ 5-6. Forskning og utvikling
Utgifter til egen forskning skal kostnadsføres. Utgifter til egen utvikling kan kostnadsføres. Balanseførte utviklingsutgifter skal vurderes etter vurderingsregelen for anleggsmidler i § 5-3. Dersom den økonomiske levetiden for balanseførte utviklingsutgifter ikke kan anslås pålitelig, skal balanseførte utviklingsutgifter avskrives over maksimalt ti år.Endret ved lov 30 april 2021 nr. 26 (ikr. 1 juli 2021 iflg. res. 30 april 2021 nr. 1316).
