- Paragraph 1 applies. 1. Each Member State shall designate the competent authority to carry out the functions and duties under this Regulation and inform the Commission thereof.
- Paragraph 2 applies. The Commission shall make available to the Member States a list of all competent authorities and publish that information in the Official Journal of the European Union and make that information available in the CBAM registry.
