Sale of Goods Act 1979
The Act governs contracts for the sale of goods between businesses: implied terms as to title, description, quality and sample, passing of property and risk, delivery and acceptance, and the seller's and buyer's remedies. Consumer sales are now governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
