What are the essential components of an OFAC sanctions compliance program?
OFAC's framework identifies five essential components: management commitment, risk assessment, internal controls, testing and auditing, and training. The framework is guidance, but OFAC considers the existence, nature and adequacy of a compliance program when resolving apparent violations.
