Han uppgav att han rest in illegalt i Grekland och därpå rest till Sverige. En begäran från Migrationsverket om övertagande av N i enlighet med Dublinförordningen sändes till Grekland den 15 juni 2009. Behörig myndighet i Grekland accepterade Migrationsverkets begäran den 16 augusti 2009 genom att inte ha besvarat denna inom den av Dublinförordningen stipulerade tidsfristen. N ska nu kommuniceras den föreliggande grekiska accepten. När så genomförts avser Migrationsverket att besluta om att överföra N till Grekland i enlighet med Dublinförordningens regelverk. För bedömning av huruvida hinder föreligger mot en verkställighet till N:s hemland krävs fullständig utredning av åberopade asylskäl.
